Binding: A work performed to cause a person or thing to be restrained or tied.

Conjure: See Hoodoo

Crossing: The act of causing someone harm and place crossed conditions upon through baneful spellwork. See “Cursing and Crossing” by Miss Aida.

Hoodoo: An African-American folk magic practice. Rooted in African folkoric practices with American Indian botanical knowledge and some influences from European folk magic.

Jinx: A verbal curse or action (i.e. Laying Tricks or Powders) to cause bad luck to another. See “Cursing and Crossing” by Miss Aida.

Saints: A person, generally decided, who is recognized as one who has a closeness to God or a high degree of holiness.

Uncrossing: A type of spiritual spell or work to remove , break, or take off a jinx or crossed conditions.
